In 2013, I developed this app specifically to control my Mac Mini, which was connected to a large-screen TV in my living room. In 2016, I made the decision to quit my job and pursue a career as an independent developer, devoting all of my efforts to creating and improving my apps. The app utilizes standard security measures, including HTTPS communication, ensuring its operation exclusively within your local network. Should an unidentified device attempt to establish a connection with your computer, you will be presented with a dialog allowing you to allow or deny access.

Unlock Premium Features

Remote offers two subscription options: yearly with a free trial and monthly, as well as a lifetime one-time payment option. Prices may vary depending on your location.

If you choose to upgrade to a Premium subscription, Apple will charge your account upon confirmation of purchase. The subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple will charge your account for renewal 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

You can manage your subscription and cancel automatic renewal by navigating to the Manage App Subscriptions section in your Apple Account settings and selecting the subscription you wish to modify. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited upon purchasing a Premium subscription, where applicable.
